After 23 placements Ashton was finally adopted! Apparently he kept going up to the mic in the courtroom saying he was getting adopted. We featured Ashton in 2017. So excited for this family!

I’m proud of my hometown! As a child there were only a couple of restaurants in Bricktown and now downtown can host 26,000 people at just one venue. TY to the people who believe in OKC and its ability to grow!

A successful adoption for Carly and Kane! Their relative had no idea they were in DHS custody until they saw “A Place To Call Home” and got the adoption process started the next day.

Have I mentioned
@OhYouGirl
is one of the most thoughtful people in the world? She sent me cookies, sent sweet videos to the station (that made me ball) and most importantly, has a HUGE heart for children. I’m so happy to know you! ❤️
Got stuck outside in the storm today. Hid under a tree until we could get inside a church. Thank you Emmanuel Tabernacle for giving us shelter and towels! That was a doozy.
I still miss the Twitter feed being in chronological order. People probably think I’m creeping out on them when I see a post for the first time two days later.
A stranger went out of their way to give me a compliment, and I have to say she made my day! She will never know how much that means to me! Give a compliment to someone. You could just make their day. 🥰
UPDATE: Jordan’s story has been viewed more than 2 million times! His permanency planning worker is hopeful Jordan will find his forever home through the outpouring of inquiries.
Is anyone worried about the opening weekend concert at Scissortail Park after the recent shootings? We have seen quite a few people comment on social media about it.

I was just told by a source that teachers at Western Heights could lose their job if they talk to media after tonight’s meeting to discuss the teacher strike. We will have a crew there.
