@stillawake You are correct. The damage done to participatory democracy over the last few years has been huge. The damage done may never be repairable in my lifetime. Rules are ignored & are for ‘others’ & not for them. Personified by Mayor Rees to electors, fellow Cllrs & journalists

Claims circulating about Truss getting £115k per annum after leaving office. This reference to the Public Duties Cost Allowance is misleading: it's a ceiling to what she can claim from cabinet office for costs incurred in meeting public duties. Not sure she'll see much of it.

@premnsikka It is (as you surely know) not monies given to them personally. It is for supporting them post them being PM. The actual pension is considerably less & she will not receive it as not served long enough. Think you should correct this tweet. You are always so accurate. Thanks
