Sakura is a medical ninja and isn’t supposed to be a fighter either. Tsunade merely trained her in case she needed to defend herself or until she’d awaken the Byakugou, which happened at the end of the show.
Just cz Sakura’s stronger, does not mean Nami is useless.
You're only comparing nami to Sakura because they are both women. Disregarding the fact that nami isn't a fighter and is never meant to be one. Sure she does have fights here and there but that is not her role in the series. Can't say the same about Sakura.
