@jonkay You need to learn about Valentina. $2.17 for 370 ml of an excellent hot sauce. Or Valentina Black for a hotter sauce, at the same price.

@bobmackin I remember Wernick complaining bitterly about JWR exposing his corruption by recording his threatening phone call to her re: the SNC-Lavalin delayed prosecution agreement. He's totally corrupt!

@DeeDreaHamilton @charliesmirkley Immigration can't solve population ageing issues. We have to adapt to an older population, like Japan is doing. "...immigration is not a solution to demographic problems such as population ageing."

@Akiliense @charliesmirkley Re: 1--This would have happened but for PMJT's hyperimmigration scheme. But now there will be a new bulge of retirees in ~30 years that younger people will have to pay for. Re: 2--Birth rate for immigrant women vs. native born is ~1.82 vs. ~1.47 [i.e. not significantly different]

@DeeDreaHamilton @charliesmirkley The birth rate for immigrant women is still below replacement level and not much higher than native born (1.82 vs. 1.47). This is not a solution to anything.

@jldundas @cbcwatcher Oh thx Jennifer for clarifying that. Anyway, Asher wasn't very convincing in his attempts to convince people that 🇨🇦 is a significant source of 🇺🇸's issues w/ fentanyl. The 🇺🇸 DEA's latest report to Congress, just a few months ago, didn't even mention 🇨🇦 in the fentanyl section.

@jldundas @cbcwatcher Well then why didn't Asher or any other American official/commentator frame that as an issue?

@jldundas @cbcwatcher I didn't say it would stay in Canada. Most likely the excess beyond Canadian demand is exported to Australia, NZ, etc. Capitalism becomes involved at this point--the U.S. market is flooded by Mexican supply, hence it's hard for Canadian suppliers to make a profit in that market.

@jldundas @cbcwatcher Again, Stinchcombe only applies after a case is brought to the courts, it would not prevent Canadian police from gathering evidence as usual, or tipping off 🇺🇸 authorities re: a suspected smuggling operation from Canada. As I understand it at least.

@jldundas @cbcwatcher Mind you, I'm not saying there are no problems with fentanyl in Canada. It's just that there's zero evidence that significant quantities of this drug are being sent to 🇺🇸 from here.

@bonney2020 @CoryBMorgan 🇺🇸 applies the same extreme tariffs on Canadian dairy imports, if they're above the quota level. You actually believe that 🇺🇸 is a "free trader" in dairy? Imported dairy products have a far smaller share of the 🇺🇸 market than in 🇨🇦's market, & this is NO accident. Don't be naive.
