Stefanos Tsitsipas on Nick Kyrgios feud:
“He’s brought NBA basketball attitude to tennis. I’d describe it as an uneducated approach to playing tennis. Tennis is a gentleman's sport, it's all about respect. We’re not playing basketball.. He kept putting his towel in my box”
Asked about Wozniacki's words: "I didn't even think about that subject anymore and i can only repeat that she should read the decision better and if she doesn't understand someone translate her" 😂😂😭
Also, while we’re here. Sharapova accepted blame early on AND was found to have taken meldonium legally for most of her career. Halep had been taking a banned substance for who knows how long and is still lying about it…
BREAKING:
Simona Halep has been suspended for 4 years.
After facing various delays to even have a fair trial, this decision seems incredibly harsh.
Simona has been provisionally suspended since October 2022.
She will appeal this decision. If she’s unable to have this
people so quick to harp on Azarenka's career as if she didn't have an insane amount of injuries, have a child, and was involved in never-ending public lawsuits for years on end. 😭😭😭
Hey guys! A little personal update: I’m officially out to both of my parents about being gay🌈. They were both so incredibly supportive & I’m so happy♥️. I plan on telling the rest of the family soon & becoming public ASAP. Thank you for all helping me on this journey, ily💞

It’s the holding the racket up just to pause them and then immediately going into return position… as if there was no hinderance in the first place
One of the biggest fighters in the history of the sport is retiring. One of my all time biggest role models is retiring. Maria Sharapova is an icon of women’s tennis. Congratulations on an amazing career on and off the court,
@MariaSharapova
Kvitova on Sharapova's win v Pliskova: It's not a surprise to me. I think she's playing great. She had a great run in Rome. She loves to play here. Otherwise she wouldn't have won twice here. Maybe the score a little bit surprised me, but I think that she's on the good way back
why give it to a 7 time grand slam champion who brings in thousands upon thousands of ticket sales and tv viewership and is one of THE household tennis names in the last THREE decades?
@kvitarenka
@BenRothenberg
Right. So instead of giving it to a young promising player or someone coming back from an injury,they are giving it to someone whose heyday is long gone
@mmfuzzy
Barty was talented for sure but I think her backhand slice took her far enough to fill the vacuum of the tour then. Muchova has every shot in the book and her net game is just leagues above what we’re seen in a while
All I’m saying is Sharapova won all her slams legally… any players on the tour could have been on meldonium (and just stopped after the January ban) and been on a ‘PED’ without ever being found out
