I'll never forget that I'm banned from /r/anime because they said my art was getting "too much attention and and taking away exposure from newer artists"
a recruiter once asked me why a lot of my portfolio looks so different from each other. variety and range. you can see that my workflow is the same across pieces but I know it's my responsibility to cater to different stylistic needs.
I am literally banned from /r/anime and some other anime subreddits because my art was considered "too good" and I wasn't allowing other smaller artists to grow. It's not just the users.
