Today , the Batticaloa Police obtained an injunction order from the Batticaloa Magistrate’s Court against the protest marking Sri Lanka’s Independence Day as a Black Day. The order prohibits any protests or related activities within the court’s jurisdiction on February 4, 2025. It has been issued against seven activists , and it has been stated that the injunction will also apply to anyone collaborating with them. #Batticaloa
