Today, Reception have focused on relationships. We have enjoyed each other’s company, been sharing and caring for one another as well as just having a good time. The role play was the best! 🤩 #caring

Today we have been exploring Chatterpix and creating our own characters. We had so much fun playing together and laughing at our silly voices. #discovering

The animals went in two by two, hurrah, hurrah! ⛵️ Today we have been exploring pairs. We have counted in 2s, played the card game pairs and matched dominos. We even looked at alternative words for two and came up with excellent answers: second, couple, twice. #improving

Today we have explored many types of sea transport and looked at the differences in speed. We then designed a new boat for Noah using our new knowledge so he could have a faster ark to save the animals. #caring #inspiring

Today Reception have enjoyed investigating floating and sinking. We have experimented with different materials to see which ones would float the best and we designed our own water vehicle too. We also worked hard to create paper boats that float! Great work! ⛵️ #achieving

Today we have been exploring a sharks habitat and what body of water we would find them in. We also discovered that some sharks use shadows or silhouettes to help find their prey above them, so we created our own under the sea silhouettes using our fine motor skills. #inspiring
