Today we lost a great friend in Jon England. I was able to share incredible memories with Jon at Maryland, Atholton and Spalding as he served as a professor, mentor and assistant coach. I watched him at his best as a father and husband. In 47 years he impacted so many people.

Our Spalding family has suffered a tremendous loss with the death of Mike Hartman. Mike was an integral part of our staff since 2013 and a friend, mentor, father and true comedian. Mike was “All In” on our program and invested deeply in relationships. He will be missed by many.

We returned to Whittles Field for the first time in 668 days. It was a 34-7 win over a very tough St Augustine’s team from NJ. Thanks to our entire school, coaches/players and “The Rowdy Red” who didn’t miss a beat! Big game in the county next week at Broadneck.
