after working on 4337 and products on top of 4337 for 2 years now i feel like it’s important for people to see that the biggest benefit of 4337 is not the specification itself but the ‘meme’ that has been created around it that has led to this cambrian explosion of smart accounts
Smart accounts already gave us tx bundling, tx sponsoring, social recovery, different cryptography, multi-sigs, spending limits, and more.
ERC-4337 is a framework for providing censorship-resistance to smart accounts, it doesn’t give the above features.
