Housing prices to fall 😁 ....what's happened to the market since the 90s ? Think supply and demand. If there is a significant correction then our economy has just imploded and the country will be bankrupt and civil carnage will be unleashed. Money printing is the magic wand in all this.

In ten years time the average house will more than likely fall into that bracket of iht , ordinary working and middle class people will be ruined . I'm with Rupert here, scrap the tax and bring ordinary people prosperity and security for their families after they have gone. I think most who disagree are just bitter public sector "has beens"who haven't done a hard day's work in their lifetime, and socialists who are a dying breed and will cease to be relevant in the future. You just don't get the sentiment of people who have worked their arse off for their lifetime and who do not want to pass on this huge portion of their capital to corrupt, inefficient, ineffective and incompetent politicians.

I guess a scrounger like you just can't grab the concept of wanting to protect the value of your assets to support your family's future. The perspective on iht by most is essentially handing over more of ones gains after a life of tax "the death tax as it's known" So you agreed that the band stays where it is forever sucking in more people ? Fair point and I agree...but there is an issue regarding the very rich , I think there should be a much higher ceiling and it should be limited and not a straight forward % value. Regarding farmers, again ceiling should be significantly increased and capped. Families having to sell their dwellings to pay the tax is just wrong.
