I did this in vivid/stasis Chapter 4 and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to write.
I've received so many people tell them that they never cry at stories but the scene hit them in a way nothing else had. It's a surreal feeling, but one that means the world to me.
Regardless of romantic or familial, scenes like this always hits me-
