Every vote counts.
Get out there today, advanced voting is open. I can’t tell you what to do, but I’ve only ever had personal conversations with two of these candidates.
The one blatantly ignoring constituents was Grace.
Tim has shown up time and time again this year for

Canada only contributes 1.5% to the global GHG emissions.
Even if we all switched to bikes and turned off every fossil fuel project… we’d solve nothing.
Better off investing in technologies, than sticking our heads in the sand.
@JulieSLalonde
The difference is… a person who drinks a beer after work, normally goes to work and lives in house.
The person that consumes opioids and fentanyl normally lives in a tent.
Comparing opioids to a beer is like comparing a tent to a house.
Airbnb owners are (or were) also local tourism spenders, and supporters of local B.C. economy’s.
Many of us had a “buy local” theme to our rentals. Supporting local soaps, glassware, wines, food, and our favourite items in our neighborhoods; by putting them on display in our

claiming they’ve made progress is laughable. They have made excellent spin dr’s… but the problems are worse than ever before where it counts.

@CHEK_News
Holy flip flop captain.
So he creates the problems in BC with the decriminalization free for all… now wants to save us from it.
Does this guy know what he’s doing??
David Eby said, “if the Airbnbs don’t want to rent long term they can sell!”
The airbnbs for sale now ⬇️ 🤣
How is this helping renters?
How badly is this hurting tourism and jobs that support making rent?
A literal sign of the times
Here we have a great example of Grace Lores MLA action at work… tax payer funded advertising; with addicts literally leaning against it.
Well I’m glad some people can do math.
I don’t think anyone in the
@BCNDP
housing department can… oh by the way, rents continue to go up on Van Island since May 1… and tourism numbers are declining all around the province.
Way to go NDP for kicking BC’s amazing tourism sector
Property taxes have skyrocketed by over 40% in some municipalities just six years.
Basic utilities by more than 20% within the same timeframe.
Development permit hurdles tack on an extra 20% to construction and carrying costs.
BCNDP makes life expensive.
Me: “I really hope our taxes are going towards rehabs and solving the drug crisis! There’s no way they can get it wrong now right?”

Parking in Victoria kills the self employed trades people.
I remember paying over 300$ in fines the first month I was in Vic installing lights.. we just passed the cost on to the customer.
They need a better system to help out the people just trying to keep the city together
It is alarming that British Columbia is poised to become the first jurisdiction in Canada to lose self-regulation of lawyers. This change not only alters the structure of the governance of the legal profession — but also politicizes our courts
BCNDP trying to now add a capital gains tax to peoples principal residence
The spending governments do isn’t free.
It eventually comes from the peoples wealth… whatever we have that’s left… which isn’t much these days when they waste so so so much.
@jtferrier
So BCNDP are trying to shame people for saying they regret taking the vaccine??
If it wasn’t for the threat of job loss many people wouldn’t have. I got two… that was enough for me.
I’ve questioned if I did the right thing ever since… I’ve also questioned if the government
Since 2016, more than 21,000 people have lost their lives to overdoses across BC.
Total ever Covid deaths has been 7,394 in BC.
The BCNDP had the public focused on the wrong subject yesterday. I wonder if the Covid deaths would have been lower if the BCNDP didn’t call an
Just a reminder, the
@BCNDP
decided that removing 10,000 STR’s that were legally zoned, licensed, and built was the response to our housing crisis when we need 180,000 new homes every year.
Those 10,000 units on average brought at least 100,000,000$ into the tourism business
Really
@GraceALore
Do you want no snowbirds or seasonal people to share their homes?
Not everyone has a government job, pension, and bikes on million dollar bike lanes every day. With a set number of holidays 4x a year..
Starting to realize how much tunnel vision BCNDP has.
@katiederosayyj
@Dave_Eby
Straight up just a deflection.
Someone in the city hall definitely knew what was going on and stood by doing nothing.
Apathy to city issues is systemic
A proposed class action lawsuit has been filed in B.C. Supreme Court alleging the province and federal government are responsible for the addictions and in one case the death of teens gaining access to diverted supply.

On July 11, 2024, a paramedic was viciously attacked in the 900 block of Pandora Avenue while trying to assist a patient. Following the attack, a shocking swarming incident occurred, with approximately 60 unhoused people circling and threatening first responders.
@JulieSLalonde
It’s almost like our whole medical system needs to re-evaluate how liberal they are with opioids.
Countries that restrict its use on all levels (including prescriptions) have fewer overdoses.
@TorranceCoste
@Conservative_BC
Comparing a beer to opioid drugs is like comparing a house to a tent… guess which user lives in which “home”
Beer = people with jobs and homes… the Navy lets people drink a beer.
Opoids = tents.
@CityNewsVAN
Ravi is stealing peoples property rights and the democratic process of consultation with neighbourhoods.
This process also just makes single lots more expensive and out of reach for the next generation while making current owners even more wealthy.
@PropertyRtsBC
Renting my home out while I’m at work more than 4x a year in Victoria… illegal.
Doing meth at a bus stop full of kids or at a hospital… legal…
What’s going on with the world NDP?
The

It’d probably be as successful as the last time they wasted billions of taxpayer dollars

Honestly when you look at the medical system failure, housing failure, and now the economic cliff we’re staring at as we follow the lefts into extreme provincial debts?
It’s no surprise the only ones voting for

Average 1odrm rent in Victoria in 2018 after the NDP took power: $1080
Average 1dbrm rent in Victoria today: $2,172
More than double since the BC Liberals left office. If that's a decline, l'd hate to see an increase.

Tim has really put in the work, people need to choose an MLA who actually meets with people. Not just run an “influencers account” like Grace Lore.
@VancouverSun
The NDP appear to flat out be bribed by the hotel lobbyists as well to remove the airbnb competition. Never before has an entire industry had their Nonconforming rights stolen; and I don’t know if anyone noticed, rents aren’t getting cheaper with the removal of STR’s.
Banning STR’s was purely a move to help hotels and screw the little guys over.
It did nothing to help affordability past this fire sale that’s happening this month
It was the hotel Monopoly act pure and simple.
