The Tekken Team did a great job bringing these costumes over for the Tekken Shop because the amount of people that don't understand that these are ported from Tekken 7, Tag 2 or 6 is crazy to me.

They need to actually add a benchmark system where you need to score over a certain amount before you can play ranked.
I understand we all want to play TEKKEN 8, but if your PC cannot handle the game then all you're doing is ruining the experience for everyone you play against. Consider lowering your settings to help mitigate lag online.

The biggest wall-to-wall stages in T7 top at around 42m to 36m. (2F Howard Estate, B2 Cave Of Enlightenment)

Closing Hi-Fi Rush during missions with unique bases will send you back to your home base.

Lack Of Mix and Matching.
Currently, the only item that does this is Xiaoyu’s T4 outfit with her hair being separate.
Jun’s scarf for example could have been an extra piece of equipment like her TT2 Stole, even Soulcalibur V had it separate!
Add more parts to mix and match.

Azucena has a little fun option she can use at +8 that protects her against High Power Crushes in a stylish way.
+7 works against other characters with slower High Power Crushes but +8 should cover you against all of them.

Now, some of these outfits have been touched up, particularly the PS3-era outfits.
Jun's Tag 2 outfit had her scarf remodelled and her belt buckle modelled (used to be a flat texture)

The game currently doesn't do that, and seems like a missed opportunity, would be very useful for tournaments for example if they had it purchased.

Kazuya's T6 outfit seems to use AI-upscaled textures? The main pattern is cleaner but identical.
Better materials all around for the fabric and metals.
The neck fabric is remodelled, and some other parts have been touched up, but the bulk of the mesh is similar.

Shop Prices...
$4 a costume is actually solid.
HOWEVER, every month (for now) will have at least 4 outfits and buying all the costumes a month costs $16.
There are NO BUNDLES, so If you wanted to grab all of them over the year, you’d easily be spending around $200.

Currently, all of the costumes implemented are ported from Tekken 7, Tag 2 or 6.
I expected as much, but with next month's lineup of costumes ALSO being from these same games, it makes me worried that these outfits will ONLY be pooled from these games.

All of these outfits need additional texture maps (metallic, specular, roughness, dirt maps) for Tekken 8's material setup.
And I feel like this is what's causing the confusion...
Tekken 8's Material pipeline is REALLY good, and it can make even the oldest costume look great.

And I could tell straight away they were boosting from their replay history, I recorded the first one I clicked on.

The T7 outfits? They're 1:1 or VERY close.
The base textures I've checked are Identical or have small tweaks.
Lars' T7 outfit from base game for example has extra scratches.
Some of the T7 meshes got adjusted to flow better with T8's new physics system but that's really it.
