The Greystone Bridge and other landmarks in the borough will be lit in red tonight as a mark of respect to the 96 lives lost at

, 32 years ago today. A wreath will be laid at the Hillsborough Memorial at Huyton Municipal Buildings and flags will fly at half-mast.
In light of new data recently published, the council has confirmed that it will be supportive of schools who may wish to ‘pause’ their plans for re-opening to larger numbers of pupils in the coming weeks. Safety for everyone is paramount.
