Charity established by Anthony’s family after his tragic death in a racist attack in 2005. Education & support services to tackle racism, hate & discrimination
At the Foundation, we celebrate Anthony Walker in all we do. In 1/3 videos being posted this week to commemorate Anthony's life, you can hear Dr Gee Walker and sister Dominique candidly speak about their son and brother. Anthony Walker, the best of us❤️
The Anthony Walker Foundation has become aware of an excerpt from a James English
podcast featuring Joey Barton, wherein he refers to the murder of Anthony Walker by his brother Michael.
17 years ago today, Anthony's life was stolen from him in a racially motivated attack. Our thoughts and prayers are with Dr Gee Walker and her family. The AWF will continue to honour his memory by challenging racial prejudice and discrimination that exists today.
RIEP Anthony
Today we celebrate the vibrant life and legacy of a beautiful, caring and much-loved son, brother and uncle, Anthony Walker. Anthony would have been 36 today.
Our sincere thoughts and prayers are with Dr Gee Walker MBE and all the family.
Today marks the 15th anniversary of the racially motivated murder of Anthony Walker. The work of the Foundation continues to create a positive lasting legacy in his name. We must not let hate have the last word. RIP
Today marks the 16th year since Anthony was cruelly taken. Our thoughts are with his family & friends as they continue to grieve his loss. Today is a stark reminder to all of us that we must continue to do better & that racism & hate must never be allowed to win. RIEP Anthony ❤️
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends and loved ones of Ava White. Another young person whose potential, ambition, hopes and dreams will never be realised because of senseless, violent crime. Rest In Peace ❤️
We consider his description of Anthony’s murder as factually incorrect, lacking in any sensitivity given the serious nature of the incident, in which Anthony Walker tragically lost his life to a violent racially motivated attack by Mr Barton’s brother and his cousin Paul
Taylor.
This year is the eighteenth anniversary of Anthony's murder, so we express our hope that Mr Barton will reflect on the impact of his words and the profound significance of the actions of his brother as he walks the street a free man.
Our charity will continue to tackle racism, hate crime and discrimination by providing educational opportunities and victim support services and by
promoting equity and inclusion for all.
It saddens us that someone with his reach and status would seem to trivialize the incident that led to such an outcome and heap further pain and suffering upon the family and friends
of Anthony.
Heartbreaking to hear of the passing of Tony Morris. Tony has been a huge advocate of AWF for a number of years and was a great support to our team.
His family, friends and colleagues are in our thoughts at this sad time.
RIP ❤️

Not just as an Anti-Racism organisation, or a charity that supports victims of Hate Crime, but as decent human beings, we stand with Dianne Abbott. Be strong Dianne, in the face of adversity, hate, racism and misogyny. There are many people by your side.

Today marks Anthony Walker's 35th birthday. Our thoughts are with his family and friends as they continue to grieve the loss of Anthony🙏🏿Today is a stark reminder that we must all be actively anti-racist and challenge hate in all forms
'murdered because of the colour of his skin' 14 years ago today the life of 18 years old Anthony Walker was senselessly taken in a brutal racist attack.
Our thoughts are with Gee Walker and her family today...

Our thoughts are with all those impacted by events which have happened in Liverpool today. Please let’s use this as an opportunity to unite and stand strong, rather than be a conduit for hate.
For those of you that don’t know, there already is a museum dedicated to looking at black history and slavery. It’s in Liverpool (not London) & you can find them 👉🏽

Today we honour the beautiful life and legacy of Stephen Lawrence and highlight how 30 years ago, his bright future was cruelly stolen due to senseless race hate. He was a much-loved son, brother and friend who had dreams of becoming an architect that were sadly never realised.
Congratulations to Dr Gee Walker, our patron & founder, on being awarded an MBE by the Princess Royal at the Buckingham Palace investiture ceremony for services to diversity and racial injustice.

We are saddened to witness the needless violence that continues to hunt our city. Just two days ago, Ashley Dale lost her life to gun violence. Tragically, this morning a 9-year-old girl suffered the same fate. Our deepest sympathies to the families of these innocent victims.

We will continue to shine Anthony’s eternal light by tackling racism in all its forms whether it be in educating our young people in schools, through our consultancy work in businesses or our outreach community work across our city.
If there was ever any more proof needed that institutional and systemic racism is alive and well in today’s society, it’s the events we’ve witnessed in DC over the last couple of days.
Can you smell the privilege?
We are saddened to learn of the passing of renowned Liverpool Black Historian Eric Scott Lynch who has died at the age of 89. A committed community activist, trade unionist, historian and race equality champion. Our thoughts are with his family, friends and loved ones.

We are aware of a video being shared of a violent attack on a Black schoolgirl in Surrey. There have been five subsequent arrests for suspicion of racially aggravated grievous bodily harm. The footage is deeply distressing. Our immediate thoughts are with the girl and her family.
