Young pitchers : please learn to command the baseball and throws strikes. Velocity will come as you mature. See too many young pitchers just throwing to a radar gun and losing sight of actually pitching. Learn to change speeds and fill up the zone. Your coach will love you for it.

The best advice we could ever give parents is to enjoy watching your son play the game he loves. His time will go by fast so don’t sweat the small stuff like the 0-4’s, bad outings on the mound, errors, bench time, etc. Enjoy it all and keep perspective ! It will all work out !.

Baseball Players: there is zero reason to not play 6-8 weeks of Fall Baseball especially after missing the majority of this last Spring. Shutting down & taking off 7 months of competition simply to “workout” is not a great choice. You can easily workout WHILE you are also playing.
