The $38 trillion debt (that was $35 trillion before Christmas) is not repayable, hence the drive to expand their asset base: Canada, Greenland, Panama. The threat is real.

@prairiecentrist Such blanket statements as "the US is not a reliable ally" paints the entire American population as being at odds with the entire Canadian population. So unnecessary, and so ill-advised. It is the US administration that is in focus, not the US population.
