Hezbollah is the most popular party in Lebanon, and its popularity has increased as evidenced in the most recent elections. Despite the mass propaganda of alienation and dehumanization.
Hezbollah uses militarization & conceptions of "resistance" to sustain its control within its constituency. & Hezbollah's armed presence is very unpopular for most social groups across the country now. & the fetishization of southerners as 'resistance subjects' is a projection.

Analysis is off; the whole country is absolutely fatigued. People want the hostilities to end. They're packing their bags and leaving. Most in the South aren't standing against Hezbollah, but no one is cheering for war.
