‘Buried Hearts’ Park Hyung-sik VS Heo Joon-ho, life-or-death showdown “Do you want to die quickly?” #BuriedHearts has been attracting attention even before it airs due to its destructive combination. #ParkHyungSik #박형식 #パクヒョンシク #朴炯植 #TreasureIsland #보물섬 #宝島 #埋もれた心 On February 21st, SBS’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘Buried Hearts’ will premiere. ‘Buried Hearts’ is a revenge drama about Seo Dong-joo (played by Park Hyung-sik), who hacked 2 trillion won worth of political slush funds, risking everything to destroy the absolute evil that killed him and brought down his world. The destructive combination of Park Hyung-sik and Heo Joon-ho (as Yeom Jang-seon) has been gaining attention as an anticipated drama even before its broadcast. Meanwhile, the third teaser video for ‘Buried Hearts’ was released on February 7th. The third teaser for ‘Buried Hearts’ begins with Park Hyung-sik’s narration, “So if you want to live, you have to leave Daesan, right?” Then, the cold faces of Park Hyung-sik, Heo Joon-ho, and Lee Hae-young appear alternately on the screen, heightening the tension. Even though it is not a spectacular scene where something explodes, the three men’s gazes and expressions alone instantly take the viewer’s breath away. And finally, the full-scale confrontation between Park Hyung-sik and Heo Joon-ho is hinted at. Heo Joon-ho’s vicious words, “I want to kill him so badly, that guy,” and Park Hyung-sik, who does not back down from Heo Joon-ho and says, “Come to your senses, Professor,” the two men’s tense fight eventually escalates into a brutal situation. Finally, Heo Joon-ho blurts out the chilling words, “If you hold out any longer, you’ll experience hell alive.” The person Heo Joon-ho’s words refer to is Park Hyung-sik. The image of Heo Joon-ho, a villain who gives you goosebumps with just his eyes, soon intersects with the image of Park Hyung-sik, who smiles bitterly and asks, “Do you want to die quickly?” Not only is the acting ability of Heo Joon-ho, who is acknowledged as the best actor by all, strong, but Park Hyung-sik’s presence, who has transformed into an image we’ve never seen before, is also impressive. Along with the tense confrontation between Park Hyung-sik and Heo Joon-ho, the appearance of other characters is also eye-catching. First, the meaningful relationship between Park Hyung-sik and Hong Hwa-yeon arouses curiosity. The appearance of Park Hyung-sik trying to push Hong Hwa-yeon away and Hong Hwa-yeon desperately saying, “I wanted to return to you quickly” creates a subtle atmosphere. Lee Hae-young, who dominates the screen with his gaze every time he appears, is also unmissable. The third teaser for ‘Buried Hearts’ was a relatively short 45-second video that impactfully captured the story’s central confrontation between Park Hyung-sik and Heo Joon-ho, the tension they will bring, the surprisingly strong acting of the two actors Park Hyung-sik and Heo Joon-ho, and the various aspects of the main characters Lee Hae-young and Hong Hwa-yeon who are driven with different desires than the two men. Even though it was only 45 seconds, ‘Buried Hearts’ is so thrilling, so expectations are rising for what kind of story it will tell in the main drama.
