Delighted to say I’m going on board with St Johnstone FC to do some work with their 2009 age group. A really exciting opportunity and really looking forward to it getting started. will still be coaching locally aswell. Roll on 2018 should be a cracker 👍👍👍

Long passes are fine. Long kicks at “ kick ins “ defo not By changing it to throw ins boys/teams don’t have the luxury of playing it long every time when the ball goes out. Yes the throw ins might not technically be great but better than a long punt every time the ball goes out.

Don’t understand the set up for the first goal. With the height in the team there’s no need to try and be clever like that. A lot of height in the side so just ask players to go be brave and stick their head on it to clear, especially so early in the game

To all those doubters who think Craig Levein isn’t the man to take us forward then I think today shows he is. Great to have a manger who will give our youth players a chance and they didn’t let him down today. Great performance and that is the bench mark for going forward.

Hearts better in the second half and hearts had the better opportunities with Walker early on and lafferty in the second half. Two decent penalty shouts that will go under the radar as everyone will pick up on the hibs goal. Yes it was in but a tough decision to make in real time

He says 6 points behind second is nothing. Presume the same applies to hearts being 6 points behind hibs then. Hearts are yet to properly fire and are only 6 points behind a supposedly great hibs team. Be interesting if hearts can go on a good run

Thing is the pitches aren’t even that great. Grass to long, lines hard to see, etc. Why not charge something like £1 per kid and try to encourage more to play.
