It has been announced that King's former pupil Blake Richardson (leaver 2015) is going to play Paul McCartney in the new movie about the Beatles. Congratulations to Blake, it is amazing to see you following your dreams of singing and song writing.
Our boulevard is now tree lined! 20 beautiful oak trees to mark our most significant donors and supporters. Huge thanks to everyone who supported our ‘2020 Vision’ fundraising campaign for the new campus
Ever wondered how much organisation it takes to get a photo of 1400 people? A lot! Planning started months ago; the scaffolding went up at 8am; the sun came out & the photo was taken at 11am; everyone was back in lessons or the lunch hall for 12pm; & everyone behaved impeccably!
Absolutely wonderful to welcome our new Year 7 cohort this morning. The 🌞 is shining and we are delighted to see them. They are clearly delighted to see each other too!
Getting ready for the first whole school photo since King’s Quincentennial photo in 2002. This one is to mark our final year on these sites. And the sun is out!

There were cries of 'the show must go on' as our Y6 pupils faced the prospect of not having the usual packed audience of parents to watch their musical this year. Rather than letting 3 months of rehearsals go to waste, the show was recorded for family to enjoy in their own homes!
Congratulations to Captain of the First XV Haydn Keogh who has been selected for the North of England U18s Squad! We are so proud and pleased for him. Congratulations are well deserved and earned.
