Bad pacing is just pacing that changes drastically and unnaturally. Alien for example has a slow start, but it excellently establishes its tone, atmosphere and setting, all before the incident occurs. Slow pacing is quite useful for things like world building.

With simple looking art for instance, there’s less leniency for errors as the basic shapes and proportions make up the entire designs appeal. A lot of people don’t understand this concept unfortunately and just pidgeonhole great/valuable art into what’s high detail.

Usually, youtubers can ramble for 15 minutes for ad revenue anyway. Just gotta get it past that 10 minute mark. It shows much more effort and passion for someone to talk about a movie for hours, points and references included. Why do people demonize that so much?

Not really. He breaks down the movie scene by scene and even compares what previous films did better than it. Most he gets into with the “SJW” stuff are the ironic butt shots in the movie and that’s kinda it. Everything else is the general worldbuilding, tone, and plot armor.
