@swyx Coming from NYC last year this was one of the most surprising things about SF to me. Even more so given typical counter culture vibes from so many different subcultures in tech. Felt so normie to me

@NumerusOpinions @Suhail The “graph” doesn’t actually exist its just a normal chat the only thing we do is replace the original message when a tool call happens

@NumerusOpinions @Suhail No since we’re not using an execution graph underneath. Since that would be over complicated

I had been thinking about changing that for a while and seeing how it played out live was not great. Co-founder is already working on pushing out a change to that flow today to make it better. The only thing you can really do is make things better, learn and keep going.

@BlancheMinerva I built an agent that scratches my own itch and works in the terminal. It uses Sonnet under the hood with a bunch of static analysis and search methods on top to provide better context from my local projects. It outputs a git commit so I don't have to do any of the application.

A few years ago my friend and I noticed search was declining and we built Whize a search engine that ultimately went no where after garnering the attention of a few thousand users. We decided to move on in life, but search is something I still follow closely and Perplexity is the first tool to cross my "this is good" threshold.

@tekbog I just wrote a full DSL compiler in rust and a custom JSON parser with error recovery and SIMD in Rust mostly using Claude and its fully tested end to end.

I mixed some vanilla protein powder into my pancake mix and gotta be honest 10/10 Nice little bump on protein for the macros and the flavor went well with the 0 cal syrup I use.

Figuring out the magical incantations to make GitHub actions work to build a wheel for 5 versions of python across 2 operating systems and 2 architectures is harder and less intuitive than it should be. Why is shipping the thing you've built still so meh?
