Yes, Hilda is older at the end of The Mountain King.
It's a show about growing up, so it'd feel kind of weird if the characters remained static and frozen in time.

I created a library of instruments & loops. A big part of the library was ambient soundscapes which I made by sending the Mood pedal sounds and messing with it until I had something that sounded like the world of Hilda.

Another fun bit is the elf that Hilda mistakenly plops back at the lost clan's village is seen later in the season, climatizing and becoming part of their clan. I like to think he fell in love with a hearty elven warrior and decided to stay.
