when I worked in a pub, some customers brought their newborn in to meet their friends, everyone held the baby, then they asked if I wanted to hold the baby so I didn’t feel left out 😭🥹 I said no bc I didn’t feel like it was my place bc I don’t know them, but it was really sweet
