For NSPCC Number Day, children in Year 6 looked at the Italian Mathematician Fibonacci and his famous sequence of numbers. They explored how the Fibonacci spiral can be identified in nature and also famous pieces of art. We then had a go at creating our own!

As part of their art topic on paintings, year 4 had an amazing experience at the Wallace Collection. They took part in a powerful portrait workshop and studied some of the old masters, which they used to inspire their own portraits. The gallery was so impressed with them!

This week we had a Jewish speaker come in from her north London Synagogue to give an assembly about the Jewish religion, its festivals and artefacts. The children enjoyed learning about traditions of Judaism and getting to explore the artefacts.
