@packyM What are you mostly using models for? Are you using them directly, or using customized tools built on top of them? I don't know about doomerism, but if today's top-level models are free in 12 months, that's a meaningful shift in individual productive capacity.

@dryflyelk @CriddleBenjamin I delivered the paper route for that neighborhood for years. Picked up the balls at the driving range too. Nearly lost broke my head sledding down into the Jeppson ravine at the the end of our street.

Check on the executive isn't limited to congressional budgetary control. Its reasonable to expect pushback from judicial when executive is aggressively pushing boundaries. Executive branch isn't a savior. They execute existing laws of the land. This isn't war. Tone it down.
If a judge tried to tell a general how to conduct a military operation, that would be illegal. If a judge tried to command the attorney general in how to use her discretion as a prosecutor, that's also illegal. Judges aren't allowed to control the executive's legitimate power.

@GuyInco15542744 @LDS_Dems @jaredadairbell @DOGE @elonmusk You can believe the judge isn't acting in good faith, but I don't think it's correct to say he's acting outside his authority to do so.

When intelligence becomes a commodity, all that remains to us is identity, and intent.
Computer programming, one of the most valuable and rarified skills today, will be 100% solved by the end of 2025. That means it will be superhuman, across the board. That means no scarcity of code forever and ever after this. Any software you need? It can be conjured out of thin air for a few cents. My first task: build a scalable global blockchain identity management framework that is intrinsically open, standardized, and interoperable. Basically, we need a stateless, scalable, open source way of proving identity.

@paulg We arrogantly assume sentient intelligence is capable of universal communication (thanks star trek!) But we've never figured out how to talk to lesser animals, and SuperAGI will have the same language barrier with us.

@CriddleBenjamin The Shoffs were all huge, and so kind. I was kind of a twerp. I remember watching general conference in their home. Rule was you could quietly play a game while watching, as long as you could answer Bro. Shoffs’ questions about each talk as it finished.

@MissRed_Roses @tradwife_ai When my daughter was in the NICU, there were volunteers who would come in and cuddle with NICU babies for moms/family could not. I intend to volunteer for that role when I retire.
