Damn - this is how you know your team is shipping fast Community avatars is an idea we started kicking around late last year, and a natural next step for HeyGen. But I didn't work on this product directly, so I was even caught off guard by the timing of this release lol Shipping fast or just me not keeping up with my Slack updates. Who knows

This is a bigger deal than most people realize What this unlocks is that you no longer have to provide a high quality video footage to create your video avatar Instead you can just leverage images (good or bad) to train the model For everyone here, we probably all have more photos of ourselves accessible in our phone, on the social media, etc. comparing to videos Meaning the train data is already there - it's just a matter of collecting/ingesting those data Additionally, the realness/quality gap between avatars trained by video vs trained by photos will continues to decrease Avatar creation is getting much easier and this will shake up the landscape. Don't sleep on this

@businessbarista @HeyGen_Official You output is only as good as your input. And in this case, any emotion in your original recording will likely get toned down slightly in your avatar Over exaggerate your expressiveness + adding some slight body movement during the recording will help
