@bludkus you're getting a crash course in learning to draw from chubby to blobs boyo. best re-evaluate how many parts you're planning on drawing.

@TheGrimHeaper thanks i spent way too long on the sand and water. it's like 30 layers between them because my workflow is stupid and i was clueless enough to want to do it myself rather than use csp store assets.

@MASSGRAVE_ART Kids don't know phoon anymore. I just wish more AA and indies were going down the Tribes and Titanfall route of high speed movement shooters rather than more fucking sim and simlites like Squad, HLL, etc. Quake-esque boomershooters like Ultrakill are kinda in the right direction.

@kdubs_matt I remember you were one the first I stumbled across all those years ago on dA. Congratulations and good luck in this next chapter of your life.

@bludkus you should try using a thinner brush for your linework sometimes, maybe also changing the brush settings to have a bit more size variation from pressure, play with lineweight. Sometimes your finer details get a bit muddied and lost because the lines are too thick.

@bludkus it's a struggle i know, but pure lineart/roughs with minimal shading is a good way to force yourself to improve your linework, even if you feel it sucks. focus on implicit ways, varied lineweight, etc to define your forms. its challenging but it helps when you do go to render.

@niewazne_nikt thanks. not now but maybe eventually. got a ways to go with learning fundamentals/anatomy/workflow before I'd feel I can put stuff out consistently enough to take reqs.

@pivk00 gonna do a replay with the expansion when it releases, but it's got flaws down to its core mechanics imo. was expecting more of a proper crpg. excellent visual design and world tho, maybe CDPR can leverage that into a better followup.
