4 yrs ago #Chantelmoore was shot &killed by police-NTC called for use of body worn cameras-NTC continued to advocate for police to use them. Next wk they will be in use in NCN territories. Policies about their use should be reviewed & changed w/NTC consent

Ahousaht First Nation @AhousahtAdmin has called a state of emergency to deal with deaths in community. NTC calls upon Federal/provincial govts @adriandix @markhollandlib @GovCanHealth to support Ahousaht w/financial &capital needed to meet the emergency

The largest Marine Protected area off B.C. has been created. The area was established with Nuu-Chah-nulth Tribal Council, Haida Nation, Quatsino, Pacheedaht and DFO and will jointly managed by all parties-important ocean area #MPA

4 yrs ago #ChanteMoore was shot 4X by Jeremy Son, an #Edmunston City Police officer. A wellness check that ended up killing her. independent investigative office didn’t recommend charges against him. Remember her &the many recommendations made have not been implemented #nojustice
