Not many can say they've had the chance to study their favorite artist within an academic setting, but this semester it came true. And in light of that, here's my final project for my Springsteen class:

10-year-old Izzy Lao attended her first USC WBB game today.
Talked to her mother Marielle — said her daughter, who is Filipino, was overjoyed to find out Kayla Padilla was Filipino and to see someone that looked like her on the court.
Took this pic with

pregame:
I came into college just having completely changed my jump shot, leaving me doubtful about how good this part of my game could ever become.
Needless to say, this one means a lot. Time to bounce back and finish off this season strong.
A year ago today I took my unofficial visit to the place I will soon call home. So crazy to think about how much has happened in a year and how much closer I am to starting my new journey with
@Penn
and
@PennWBB
. Grateful!

It has been the honor of a lifetime to rep the Red and Blue. Couldn’t of asked for a greater opportunity and experience on the court, in the classroom, and in the
@Penn
community.
Always and forever a Quaker! Fight on, Penn!
This one means a lot to me. Attempting to sum up the life of a legend like Kobe is nearly impossible, but it's only right to play a part in perpetuating his everlasting legacy, even if it be with a simple article. Give it a read if you can:
The "Fight On" Philly-to-LA train picks up another passenger. May he have a season like
@kaylacp_
just had on the women's side! Make some history, my man!
There is no greater feeling than representing a community of which I’m so lucky to be a part of, playing alongside my sisters. Tough loss, but extremely proud of all the things we accomplished this season.

Never thought this day would come. Played my last AAU game this afternoon. I’m so fortunate to have been a part of some of the greatest programs, surrounded by amazing teammates, and challenged by the best players in the country.
Having friends who dance is fun and all until you’re at a party with them and they simultaneously break into choreography and you’re just standing there like
We are EXTREMELY thankful to the Padilla family for inviting us into their home and preparing an incredible meal for us tonight!
We wouldn’t have wanted to spend our night in LA any other way.
Feeling extremely blessed! Playing in and repping the South Bay these past four years as a Knight has been a remarkable experience. Thank you

So excited to finally launch Beyond The Sideline into the world.
So many of my life's mentors are those of whom were once college athletes themselves. We can't wait to share our network with you and continue to grow our platform!
Today, The Sideline Post announced the launch of our newest segment: Beyond The Sideline.
Beyond The Sideline offers former collegiate athletes the opportunity to share their advice and wisdom with the athletes of today.

I would always tease
@Noey_Quinn
and list her accomplishments on her office white board so visitors felt blessed to be in the presence of greatness.
We're adding one more to the ongoing list: UCLA Hall of Famer. Proud to be a small piece in your life's story. Congrats, Coach!
GBB | Lady Knights 69 Yorba Linda 25. With 17 points today, Kayla Padilla '19 is now the newest member of the BMHS 1,000 Point Club! Congrats Kayla!!!

Saw a Broadway preview of my favorite movie of all-time,
@AlmostFamousBwy
. Did not disappoint.
Music = phenomenal (expected).
Cast = excellent.
Adaptation = beyond expectations.
Amazing job
@CameronCrowe

But in all seriousness, today has truly been a day to remember. All the kind words and support that was shown to me today made me feel so loved. Thank you. I’m so thrilled to embark on this new journey.

I went to a Chance concert last Tuesday. I had an APUSH test the next day. The score I got on that test was the highest one I’ve received thus far. Therefore, I need to go to concerts in order to get good grades.

And I say thank you back! It’s one thing to play ball in high school, but it’s something truly special to play for and represent
@BMHSHoops
. Legendary people, legendary program, legendary experience.

What do you say about a student-athlete that epitomizes everything it means to be a Knight? Great GPA? ✔️ Great player & teammate? ✔️ Leader on & off the court? ✔️ Going to an Ivy League school? ✔️ Team & Individual athletic accomplishments? ✔️ Special person? ✔️ You say, Thanks!
Fun fact: I saw Sylvester Stallone at the Hunger Games premiere in the 5th grade, but I forgot his real name. I started yelling “rocky” to get his attention, and that’s probably why I didn’t get a picture with him.
A few days ago, I introduced The Sideline Post - a platform for collegiate athletes to voice their stories firsthand. Today, we released our first story. Give it a read if you can!
Unfortunately, the article doesn’t include me telling
@thucnhi21
how I used to beat

in ones all the time at Bishop. Still a great read nonetheless 😆

I had the incredible privilege of being a panelist amongst this amazing group today. As great as it was to share my thoughts as a consumer and generator of media, I most enjoyed listening to and learning from my fellow panelists.

No lie, friends. Sometimes I can't believe I get paid for this. Strange thing, this gig:
You can call 'em JuJu and the Nerds.
Meet the Nerds. They're way cool.
THANK YOU

and Kaitlyn Davis for humoring me.

Fun fact: my first time watching ET when I was 6 or 7, I sobbed when ET left for space. Bawling out of control, I hid myself in the bathroom so no one would see me in my inconsolable state. I was so devastated to the point where I had to miss my basketball game.
The Sideline Post initiates our week long segment called “Standing With Our Athletes” with a feature from BU’s Chiara Tibbitt. This segment is dedicated to giving a voice to student athletes of color during these trying times. Check it out!
I cannot believe how fast this year has gone. I am so proud of how much The Sideline Post has accomplished in this time and am even more excited to see where it goes. Thank you to everyone who has shown their support!
I spend most of my time talking Penn or basketball, so this was a special opportunity.
Thanks
@JesseJacksonDFW
for having me on

to talk Bruce and the Springsteen Heardle!
