Love this! I don’t know how old she is, but I taught first and third grade and I found that children understand deep concepts like this when explained like you did. We always had the best discussions around MLK Day, Rosa Parks, etc. These kinds of conversations will be hard to have in the classroom in the US. In some states at least. I really feel bad for teachers. Thanks for being such an amazing grandma.
