In NSW , the Crimes Amendment (Publicly Threatening and Inciting Violence) Act 2018 addresses threatening force or violence. Specifically, Section 93Z of the Crimes Act 1900 makes it an offense to publicly threaten or incite violence against a person or group based on attributes such as race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, intersex status, or HIV/AIDS status. The maximum penalty for this offense is 3 years imprisonment or 100 penalty units for individuals, and 500 penalty units for corporation. Get a move on, @nswpolice.
