This is so genuinely disappointing and frustrating. I’ve never had such a hard emotional Christmas being apart from loved ones and it’s all 100% because of the way #SouthwestAirlines has handled the situation. The storm wasn’t their fault. Everything that came after was.

So now I’ve spent $100 extra on top of my original fare to fly out a day LATER than I originally planned 🙄.

And THEN when I go to reschedule my cancelled flight there isn’t anything else available until the 31st. NOTHING. Because they preemptively canceled so many flights so they can “stabilize” AND when I select the 31st flight it only gives me a credit of $49.

I moved my flight that I originally had on the 30th back to the 27th so I could get out to see him sooner since he wasn’t able to come see me for Xmas due to the cancellations, cost me $150 more than my original fare. And then cancelled with no notice, no reason, or communication

They didn’t advise my boyfriend on how to reschedule his flight when it cancelled and he called and waited 3 hours on the phone, they just said “it’s cancelled” and refunded him. There were still flights available he could have switched to. We could have spent Xmas together
