Karlsen Mobile v3.0.0 Released!📱 Recommended Update - Support priority fee, rbf and estimate rpc - Update to rusty-karlsen protos - New white and dark theme - Support for BIP39 passphrase - Enable 12 word standard wallets Breaking Changes Following the transition from Kaspa coin type `111111` to Karlsen coin type `121337` - a change already documented on < and implemented in May 2024 - we're in the process of adopting our specific derivation path. This step is crucial for most integrations that do not operate a node daemon, such as hardware wallets, to ensure address compatibility across different platforms. A unique derivation path is essential for this purpose. With this release, we have dropped support for the old `111111` derivation path. Although old cointype wallets will remain operational, migrating KLS to a new cointype wallet is strongly advised for future compatibility with both software and hardware wallets. If needed, you can still use the previous release, which supports the old derivation path. If you’re unsure, download the `karlsen-mobile-app-release.apk`, (129 MB). If you want a smaller download and know your device’s architecture, choose the corresponding split APK. 👉 <

Based on some user feedback, we have updated the $KLS explorer to make it more engaging and intuitive: - Each row in the table is clickable. Clicking on a row will navigate you to the corresponding range's detailed page (e.g., `/range/10m`), where all addresses within that range are displayed. - A new "Symbol" column has been added, featuring fun animal-themed🐳emojis for each distribution range to make the interface more enjoyable. - The table now displays the number of addresses for each range as well as the percentage of the total distribution, providing more detailed insights.

Ethash had proven its resistance to dedicated hardware, and Fishhash was designed as a more efficient version. We chose it in December 2023, based on Lolliedieb's whitepaper, before Ironfish adopted it. Fishhash fully utilizes memory bandwidth, allowing GPUs to mine alongside FPGAs without issues. We also implemented a variant called FishhashPlus.

FPGA offers an extra layer of security due to its higher investment requirements and the limited size of usable algorithms. The key factor to consider is the performance-per-watt ratio, ensuring no hardware significantly outperforms others by an order of magnitude.
