@colingorrie Finnish has ’koira’ from a word referring to a male dog (koiras is still generically any male animal). Koira seems to have superceded ’peni’ in a similar manner to the way dog took over.

@HuinGuillaume @btsportsatlanta Isn't that the one central function of advertising? To make people choose this thing over other similar things. It's basically the reason for the Jaguar ad as well. They are not selling objects, they are selling values that lead us to choose their products. I loved this ad.
