We lost our little Katy 14 years ago today from brain cancer, glioblastoma. She was only 10 and she was awesome. My granddaughter, I miss her everyday.😔

I was raised Catholic, and all the stories just didn't make sense to me, starting with Adam and Eve. There was no questioning anything. I had lots of questions.

I'm an RN, and through the years I can't believe how many nurses are judgmental Karen's! From nursing school, until I retired, I was always the patient advocate as it should be ☺️
@clairecmc
I worked with dementia patients for years. Had women that wanted to wear make-up. If left to do themselves it could be quite scary, and you can not argue with them. They can become combative. We would help them but they usually reapplied 🥺

I have met many people in my life that would be considered not beautiful. They were the nicest people,and would bend over backwards to help someone. They are beauties. Through her actions she has made herself ugly.

Was raised catholic, I started questioning that at a very young age. Was basically told to shut up. Never got an answer, because it's all a fairy tail.
@JohnJHarwood
My family all prayed for a miracle when my 10 year old granddaughter was dying of brain cancer. We prayed up until the second she died, but we never stopped listening to the medical professionals.

Tomorrow will be 32 years since I lost my 14 year old son. I've lost both my parents in that time and doesn't compare at all. There is no sorrow like losing a child.😞

I'm 69 and my Dr has never asked me to take that test. I do believe they only have you take it if there is reason to believe there is something wrong.
@MrDarkWolfe
As a nurse, I advocate each person with chronic pain, do what they must for their pain to have the highest quality of life possible. I think the stigma of pain med addiction causes many to not take meds they really need.

I worked with dementia patients for years. This is the beginning of the end of trump. It won't be long until we don't see him walking up stairs, or ramps because they will hide it.
@thejackhopkins
I did that not realizing what I was doing. Years ago with my commute to work, I decided, I'm not letting slow traffic or stop lights piss me off because it's inevitable, and totally out my control. Worked for me.
