Tommy Ryman opens up with a funny bit poking fun of himself.

Ryman opens the show and addresses the students and interacts with the crowd right away.

Here is the first look at Tommy Ryman as he walks out onto the stage!

Ryman is also known for doing comedy shows around the country at clubs and college campuse. His show is about to start. The crowd is piling in!

Tommy Ryman is a stand up comedian Ryman has earned the title of Semifinalist on NBC’s Last Comic Standing. According to his website Roseanne Barr, a professed fan, raves she has “never seen anything like [Tommy] before in [her] whole life, [he is] one-of-a-kind, fantastic!"

The event is being held here on campus in the Betty Tipton Room where most events like this take place.

Before the event Taylor Myers a student here at Eastern had this to say about the show. "I’m super excited, I've heard about this comedian before and he's really funny."

“We first heard about Tommy Ryman when we went to NACA (National Association for Campus Activities.) He was there and we asked him to headline one of our events. He first came to Eastern during Warrior Welcome last year. We received great feedback so we asked him to come again.”

CAB held an event featuring comedic Tommy Ryman. I spoke with CAB coordinator  Michael Theriault. When asked about how this CAB event came to be. Michael had this to say “We have to have two comedians and 3 musicians. For being apart of CAB."

On every college campus there is always an event going on. Things like fundraisers, culture nights, comedians, musicians. At Eastern Connecticut State University CAB (Campus Activity Board) is in charge of all events.
