It is with great sadness that we share the passing of KMC cross country and track coach, Bob Lida. Bob was a two-time World Masters Athlete of the Year and holds numerous world records. He inspired so many athletes and will be missed. Keep him and his family in your prayers.

Senior Claire Bruening was at the bball tournament at El Dorado last week when she saw a custodian fall; she immediately recognized he was having a seizure and called 911. Claire took a leadership role in the situation as adults arrived to assist. Way to go, Claire!
Congratulations to Mr. Brian Carrillo! He and his wife Lauren welcomed their first two children yesterday, twins! Conner Timothy & Molly Elizabeth were born at 2:36 and 2:38 am on Tuesday & weighed just over 5lbs. The Carrillo’s appreciate your prayers!

Children, ages 1-18, may pick up 1 breakfast and 1 lunch bag per child per day, free of charge, at KMC, 11:00am-12:30pm, Mon-Fri, beginning 3/25 to 5/22. All children must be present to receive meals. Go to the teacher parking lot on the east side of the campus. God bless!

Over the weekend, several KMC Seniors led by Mr. Lewis took to the streets of downtown Wichita to hand out lunches to some of our city’s homeless. Each bag included a sandwich, fruit, gum and socks. Great job guys!

launching his modeling career. He has been living in Milan, Italy this summer & modeling internationally. He walked in Milan’s Fashion Week & has represented several designers. He‘ll be going on to Paris this week. Congrats, Eli!

What a special day! Our seniors, staff and choir attended the funeral Mass of our namesake, Fr. Emil Kapaun. It was a humbling, incredible experience. Fr. Kapaun, pray for us.
Congratulations to the girls golf team for taking first in regionals! Alexa Garrett placed first with a 79, Abby Wolff tied for second with an 82, and Elea Navarro ties for fifth with an 86. The team will play in the state tournament next week. Go Crusaders!

We ended Catholic Schools Week with a pep rally that included cheer performance, pommie/senior boys dance, and teacher lip sync battle. Congrats to lip sync winners, Therese of Lisieux house, who were represented by Fr. Curtis, Mrs. Ferraro and Mrs. Valdez singing Stayin' Alive!
We are proud to announce that Jada Mayberry is the inaugural recipient of the John Clevenger Memorial Scholarship. Jada plans to use it toward her studies in nursing. Congrats Jada!
