Culture is everything. The novelty of a bigger logo, that fancy office, or even those βstate of the artβ equipment will all wear off. Cultural upgrade is the upgrade that matters most. βDI, P5, Proβ all mean nothing.
People take jobs or leave jobs because of culture. People succeed or fail because of culture. People feel inspired or feel depressed because of culture. A good workplace culture can carry you through the hard times. A bad workplace culture will make all times seem hard.

All I can think about is how great the few women and POC in this picture have to be to make it there. You canβt just be average in an industry dominated by one demographic. Youβve got to be great to not get overlooked. You've got to be twice as good to get half as far.
More than one demographic missing from Olympic photo coverage. Improvement starts with acknowledging the problem.

This breakdown shows exactly why you should always try your best to shoot horizontal - composition is everything. Thereβll always be room to crop into vertical, but not the other way around. Had to learn this the hard way so many times early in my career
