Are reviewers still asking this question? I hope the ACs and SACs are taking note of such reviews. I thought #NLProc had come a long way from “If it isn’t in English- reject” bias , and even inexperienced reviewers/students knew this by now.
@AlhamFikri I am not surprised. Our reviewer 2 asked "why didn't you do this for English?" ironically, the phenomenon we studied doesn't even exist in English. I thought it was 2024 and #NLProc has come a long way from it's English-is-the-universal-language attitude. Sigh!
