finale, the series’ doomed romance, and why yasmin’s choice is the ultimate act of self preservation. read here:
Tom Holland says he would like to make a ‘JAK & DAXTER’ movie — “But I would make it A24, so it was really weird and dark. Yeah, I would do a really weird live-action version of Jak and Daxter.”

watching interview with the vampire is just me going: wow this is the best episode of television ever…wow this is the best performance ever…wow this is the best score ever…wow this is the best show ever
sharp objects changed my fucking life and without it i would not have been able to heal my childhood wounds. jean-marc vallée was one of the most sympathetic and genuine storytellers in modern television and film. an inspiration to an aspiring canadian filmmaker. i’m devastated
it doesn’t matter if kendall’s name is underlined or crossed out. what matters is the uncertainty of it and how logan can taunt his children and spark their ruin even after death
i wish IWTV qualified for this years emmys because i fear it will be forgotten by 2025 with all the new/returning shows we have. coming out of the gate with a performance like this is wild and in a just world delainey would be getting an emmy nomination
george r. r. martin writes about gay characters with such empathy and understanding only for the adaptations of his work to disregard and brutally punish these same characters. it’s very strange (and upsetting) to me
cycles of abuse and generational trauma are so hard to break but there is absolutely no sympathy in my heart for someone who poses as a changed person when in reality they have turned into the monster that created them
i’ve had about 24 hours to think about KOTFM and these four performances have really stuck with me. each actor conveys so much with such little screen time it’s incredible
kendall’s quiet moments are some of the best parts of this show. the thousand yard stares and the silent shame and contemplation are so good in this episode. jeremy is just fantastic
why? because she’s brought a ludicrously capacious bag. what’s even in there, huh? flat shoes for the subway? her lunch pail? i mean, greg, it’s monstrous. it’s gargantuan. you could take it camping. you could slide it across the floor after a bank job
watching mcu stans cry about their films not getting awards attention is so funny. not me though. my favourite superhero film was nominated for best adapted screenplay
this season finale is a gag, but i found myself moved to tears during that final scene between yasmin and the woman from the yacht. she immediately closes off after, but what a relief to be seen and told you’re not alone in your trauma even if only for a brief moment
stop talking about a24 like its a genre stop talking about a24 like its a genre stop talking about a24 like its a genre stop talking about a24 like its a genre stop talking about a24 like its a genre stop talking about a24 like its a genre stop talking about a24 like its a genre
i don’t think KOTFM wants us to feel sorry for Ernest at all, similarly to how by the end of OPPENHEIMER its clear we’re not supposed to feel anything but contempt for the man himself
this is one of the best television trailers ever made. the swirling score, the pairing up of various characters in the climax, memory as the core crux…incredible
@vlleneuve
thinking about in 2018 when emma stone said “these’s four men and greta gerwig” - completely disregarding jordan peele and guillermo del toro and all the white feminists on here cheered
asoiaf focusing on multiple women attempting to gain agency in a male dominated society and the show ending with their main female protagonist dead at the hands of her lover and with only one woman on the king’s council…lol
sorry but if you’ve watched the last ten minutes of DUNE: PART TWO and the entirety of CHALLENGERS and still don’t understand why or how zendaya is a star then there’s no hope for you
finally started interview with the vampire and i'm kinda shocked that jacob anderson has been shut out of this years emmy conversation. what happened there?
