Marco Rubio states it clearly. Their insubordination caused this. They were completely uncooperative. They FAFO’d. And USAID falls under the executive branch of the US government, not the legislative branch. It operates under the direct authority of the @POTUS, and is managed by the Administrator of USAID. That acting administrator is Marco Rubio. Is Chuck Schumer ready to give away any of his legislative powers to the president and have ‘talks’? Of course not.
