Governance Analyst & Content Creator | Sharing insights & strategies about Decentralized Autonomous Organizations | @stablelab

Exciting news: I’m joining StableLab as a Governance Analyst! @StableLab isn’t just leading in decentralized governance—they’re defining the standard. From high-impact delegation programs to pioneering governance frameworks, this is where the real innovation happens. For the past four years, I’ve been deep in DAOs—learning, experimenting, and figuring out what works (and what doesn’t). Now, I get to take that passion to the next level. DAOs aren’t perfect (yet). Coordination is messy. Incentives don’t always align. But the potential? Unmatched. This is collective action at scale, and I’m here for it. As I always say: “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, join a DAO.” To everyone who’s been part of my journey—thank you. Now, let’s get to work!

While models like Sociocracy and Holacracy structure leadership into circles, true leaders will always emerge, often based on trust and execution. The risk in DAOs is plutocracy, undermining democratic/meritocratic principles. DAOs need better ways to identify real leaders, not just those with the most tokens. Whether through rep-based influence, on-chain credentials, or social consensus, leadership should be visible, accountable, and easily rotated, ensuring the right people step up when needed.

Great points Raph. Governance isn’t just about casting votes, it’s about making sure everything actually works. Research, coordination, risk management… that’s real effort, and it needs real backing. Automation helps, but relationships, tough calls, and long-term accountability? That’s still on people. And people need incentives to stay engaged and do it right. How often do you think comp should be reviewed? Quarterly? Annually? Feels like a fine line between stability and adaptability.
