As of today, Twitter is effectively write-only for me. I'm fed up with the lack of control over what I get in my feed (I REALLY don't care about most other people's Likes and Retweets) so I'm just going to stop reading except for rare occasions and reactions to stuff I post.
I keep waiting to hear nonstop media coverage about people who've declared bankruptcy due to medical debt from poor insurance coverage. And waiting. And waiting...
I tried shooting the comet tonight using my DSLR with a sizable zoom (on a tripod) with 3-10 second exposures. This is the best I got before the humidity ruined viewing. ISO 640, 6 second exposure.
I got to shoot pics of the comet tonight with Kathleen. If you didn't see it, try tomorrow not long after sunset. It's just above at to the right of Venus. Wednesday will probably be cloudy, but maybe Thursday will be good too--and the moon won't be as intense.
