@technics109 @Sourceofboxing GGG wasn't a legitimate mandatory. WBC broke rules by installing him despite being WBA champ & inflated his purse split to 45%. Of course Canelo rejected that BS to be free to negotiate as A-side. It was signed in a year & could've been sooner but GGG rejected career high purse

@Elmo473 @Sourceofboxing Cap. GGG was the hyped up unbeaten favorite. And the fight got signed within a yr and could've been sooner but GGG initially rejected career high $. Funny GGG fans think A-sides were supposed to cater to him ASAP when GGG as A-side was content fighting stiffs.

@swaggybucks_ @Sourceofboxing Nah, even that's overstated. GGG fans criticize damaged Sergio fighting a different HOF'er for bigger $ on the way out, yet still capable GGG spent yrs fighting stiffs post Canelo. And the Canelo fight was signed in a yr and could've been sooner but GGG declined career high $.

@_SirAntMan_ @ThomDan11 @Sourceofboxing Which is BS. He had Jacobs gun shy for much of the fight. People gave Jacobs credit just for looking alive later in the fight but Canelo remained in control. GGG-Jacobs was more of the 50/50 fight with Jacobs trading more freely because GGG is more hittable.

@_SirAntMan_ @ThomDan11 @Sourceofboxing In 2yrs Canelo will be a 22yr pro & faced +25 champs. Latebloomer GGG didn't step up his opp til his 30s & only had 30something fights w/few tough. Only one at a discernable disadvantage was Nelo fighting above 155 for only the 2nd time & stylistically more backfoot fighter then

@G__Chain Exactly. He's got great highlight wins but he didn't challenge for a belt til nearly 29 yet has fought only 7 times over the past 6yrs. We don't know how his career would've panned out if he actively fought top opp like other legends. He's fortunate to not have a KO L as is.

@UsyksBurner Great peak Ws but GOAT is a stretch. Didn't challenge for a belt til almost 29 yet fought only 7xs over the past 6yrs. We don't know how his career would've panned out if he actively fought top opp throughout their career like other legends. He's lucky to not have a KO L as is

@TokyoxLACult @ThomDan11 @Sourceofboxing Consistently fought 2nd/3rd tier opp. KOs stopped coming when he stepped up. Had a pretty even fight w/Jacbs & lost the rematch to underdog Canelo. GGG even at his supposed most desperate rejected fights like Lara bec of style or moving up vs Ward despite his anyone 154-168 talk.

@_SirAntMan_ @ThomDan11 @Sourceofboxing And GGG was the hyped unbeaten favorite who many thought would destroy Canelo fighting above 155 for only the 2nd time yet Canelo as underdog beat him at his game in the rematch while GGG revisionists went from using weight as their excuse vs Jacobs to suddenly calling him old.

@Sourceofboxing GGG revisionists carry on like he dominated MW for an era when he was an afterthought fighting stiffs in Europe much of his career. Didn't receive buzz/step it up til HBO. Had a few yrs in which he could call himself topdog but lost the Nelo rematch & went back to fighting stiffs

@armoredmaybach @amirkingkhan It was 8lbs. Canelo on his end has fought from 140 to 175. And how are you going to talk about weight when Bud is on record rehydrating more than Canelo ever has? Matter of fact Bud in his JR MW debut rehydrated the same as Canelo in his last fight at middleweight.

@alfred13ts @ErnestoAmador Canelo defeated the champs for their belts unlike JMM who got most of his from vacancy. Canelo makes opponents tentative because of his skill & power. JMM was more hittable and had to go to war against gatekeepers like Katsidis. JMM is fortunate to have not faced a guy like GGG.

@qpe @getdz_handz Canelo's the one who started at welter yet has stopped champs at 168-175. DB's the overgrown dude who's never stopped a relevant fighter in his career. Got taken the distance by a Canelo leftover and went 24 rounds with gatekeeper Gavril and he's the only one who got dropped lol

@NutJobJimCF @getdz_handz Comedy. Canelo fought actual champ at 168-175. DB ducked 168 unifications, dropped his belt & ducked a title 175 title shot. Finally moved to 175 to fight a retiree and was sidetracked w/the damage he took then fought an untested prospect moving up and got rocked in a scrap lol.

@Maikondougl4 @getdz_handz Why do DB dirty by talking opp? Canelo is 4 div champ, unified in 3 including undisp where DB dropped his belt ducking smoke. DB wouldn't unify or take a 175 title shot. His big "test" as a 12yr vet was an untested prospect and got rocked- and busted ribs vs a retiree last fight.

@LeszekDudek @boxing_habit Cap. He fought guys others avoided like Lara who GGG & FM wanted no part of. He was underdog when he beat hyped GGG. And there's no other ex welter who'd touch Light heavy champs. FM even as he moved up strictly fought guys his height unlike Canelo regularly giving up 5-7" height

@chrisbatt90 @boxing_habit Yep, FM even as he moved up always fought guys his height & almost always maintained the reach advantage while avoiding lankier guys who'd make it difficult to fight in a shell, unlike Canelo regularly giving up 5-7" height. FM had trouble finding his range vs a 6ft youtuber lol

@Sourceofboxing Cap. GGG claimed he'd fight anyone 154-168 yet rejected guys like Lara bec of style & wouldn't move up 1 div for Ward yet expected others to move up for him. Made his career mainly about a payday vs underdog Canelo who many thought he'd destroy only to lose the rematch & trilogy
