@jdurran A lot of teachers also don’t have to think too much about it. They are creative, interesting and love their subject. A sense of joy emerges from their natural processes and it’s infectious. I think it’s wonderful to watch and should be celebrated.

@amanda_spielman The idea that teachers have to choose between relatability and aspiration is so bunk it’s hard to know where to begin. Who thinks it’s a good idea to ‘confine children’s learning’ only to what is relevant and never stretch them? No wonder education debates go around in circles.
