While I kind of get what you mean, I think this is a weird way of looking at it. Izuku wasn’t “ignoring” anything or “explaining her flaws”. He was telling her he understands exactly how she feels and knows what it’s like to be in her position, and that even though Toga’s gone,

THIS. This scene always bothered me, because they don’t value him as a real guest of the hotel bc he “never tries to change”, when they have lessons so childish and unhelpful that they’re so condescending that they come off as insulting.
Why did Charlie write a script valuing being anti drugs and pro primatial intercourse as "redeemable qualities" and placed the drug addict, corn star as the bad guy?
That's either nice girl passive aggression or she's THAT naive and unaware, damn😭

I couldn’t disagree more. Carmilla literally has 3 (or, 2/12) songs and is one of the driving factors of S1, which only has 8 eps and is meant to focus on the Vs in S2, so the judgement on Velvette is (while understandable) a little unfair, and Chaggie is an established and (1/2)

We don't get any satisfying conclusion to Deku's negative traits, we never get the chance to see Deku and Bakugo talk things out about their relationship (what we do get is Bakugo basically trauma-dumping on his victim and for his actions to mean fuck-all)
