@guzdden @SFHFT I'm doing great, Mr Badrinath did a great job of the wound/stoma and got rid of my beer belly, although that could be part not eating pre and post surgery and a buig tumour, whole of the theatre team start to finish we're amazing πŸ˜€

@strutinUK @SFHFT Hi hopefully back to work on 20th May, unfortunately when they opened me up found Colon cancer, hopefully all removed, but had tests and will find out results and plan for Chemotherapy on 23rd May, thanks fir asking

@justinw19249337 I remember it well Justin ..central line, epidural, catheter, drains … things seem good then something sets you back … you have the strength keep going! I vividly remember the shock on colleagues faces seeing you so vulnerable

The road to recovery is a winding one, felt so good, mobilising, epidural down, catheter out, then my digestive system decided to go to sleep again! I've never had so many tubes and needles, some of which are rather unpleasant, made bearable by caring, compassionate, and compent

Thanks Martin, apologies I did forget Pharmacy of which I have seen 2, my drug history was pretty straight forward with no prescribed medications.

Anaesthetics, Physio, Stoma nurses, ward nurses, receptionist, housekeeper, domestics and ward caterer, you have all been amazing and made a difficult time much easier with care, compassion and a little humour and not forgetting the support from my colleagues in Medicine, amazing

Lovely day @WindsorCastle to receive my MBE. The staff were so kind and helpful. Thank you to the Chancery staff who were so supportive in trying to get my brother there. Sadly he was too ill to make it on the day but we were able to share some happy memories with him
